Dinner in trend-town

Yeah, it has been awhile. Hudson posted on FB that everyone should journal, cause what have you got to lose, except time? So here goes again.

Dinner last night with Bob and Rebecca, who were in town for a wedding. Picked them up in the Heights at a newly remodeled home of a freind of a relative. Advice of the owner was that if we liked Onion Creek, we'd really like Cedar Creek, so we got directions and went there. Ordered some drinks and grub from the bar, and sat down outside to visit. Food was good, company was better!

Looking forward to the email Bob's going to send about us getting together up in Chicago for Labor Day. Dynamo will be in Chicago that weekend so me and the wifey will be going!

I watched the USA vs. Canada womens soccer match yesterday morning before I headed to work. Shame about the 6 second call on the Canada keeper. I always want that call made at the end of the game, but even for the opponent, I think they should get a warning first.
